Last year, I decided to merge my multiple blogs into one. But really, what I had was two versions of this site: the personal version, melmyfinger.com, and the "professional" version, meltajon.com.
My personal posts are only published on melmyfinger, which is hidden from search engines and potential clients/employers. My professional posts have been published on both sites, but only meltajon is visible to search engines.
This turned out to be confusing because friends would share my professional posts by linking to melmyfinger instead of meltajon.
So today, I'm simplifying it — no more cross-posting. All posts will be published on one site or the other.
